The Theme of the lesson: Language with content: Travel and art

There is no one universal definition of art but there is general consensus that art is the conscious creation of something beautiful or meaningful using skill and imagination. But art is subjective, and the definition of art has changed throughout history and in different cultures.

The question of what is art has been debated for centuries among philosophers.

With the help of this WebQuest students to learn about what is art and also they should be able to debate and converse about their opinion of what "can be/is art" showing their understanding of the principles, types and elements of art. In addition, learners work individually to do their research using the given links and tasks, and later , learners work in groups to accomplish the project works.

This long term WebQuest consists of 6 essential components:

- Introduction part, where students are given brief information about the structure of the WebQuest, and about overall theme of the WebQuest.

- In the task section learners are given a formal description of what they will produce at the end of the quest.

- Process section is a very important part, because this stage of the WebQuest guides learners through set of activities, which they have to accomplish step- by -step.

- After completing the tasks learners have to do the self-assessment by using rubric on evaluation section. The evaluation should be fair, clear, and consistent.

- The last step of students is the conclusion stage, where they reflect and give a feedback on what they feel they have learnt or achieved.
